Dylan Crosson

Dylan Crosson is a Visiting Assistant Professor.  He earned his PhD in Musicology from the Ohio State University in 2025. Dylan's academic interests include the perceived connection between music-making and spiritual formation in both historical and contemporary settings. Dylan’s current research focuses on how the musical philosophies of the Contemporary Worship Music tradition influence its performance practices, aesthetic ideals, and musical contents. Dylan has published and presented research on this topic to both academic and public audiences.  He will be teaching SCLA 101 this fall in West Lafayette.
