David Munson

David Munson earned his Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Public Affairs from Texas A&M University in 2018. His academic interests lie in rhetorical theory and American public discourse; his primary focus is the relationship between rhetoric and civic life, with particular attention to nineteenth-century American writers and the recovery of classical rhetorical traditions. He has taught courses in public speaking, persuasion, communication theory, interpersonal communication, argumentation, and rhetorical theory. He joined Cornerstone in 2026.
