David Munson

David Munson is a Visiting Assistant Professor in Cornerstone. He earned his Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Public Affairs from Texas A&M University in 2018. His academic interests lie in rhetorical theory and American public discourse; his primary focus is the relationship between rhetoric and civic life, with particular attention to nineteenth-century American writers and the recovery of classical rhetorical traditions. He has taught courses in public speaking, persuasion, communication theory, interpersonal communication, argumentation, and rhetorical theory.
