Cayley Ryan-Claytor

Cayley Ryan-Claytor is an incoming Assistant Professor of Sociology at Purdue University. She previously completed her PhD in Sociology and Demography at Pennsylvania State University and a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Michigan Population Studies Center. Her research investigates social determinants of health and health services use across the life course, with a specific focus on how resource-health relationships change across cohorts and in the context of aging societies. Her most recent projects examine the role of internet use and exposure to online health content in shaping health behaviors and beliefs. She maintains ongoing collaborations in applied contexts such as living kidney donor transplantation, participation in social welfare programs, and consistency in self-reporting of health services use.
