Beth Baumgartner is a Limited Term Lecturer in the Department of English at Purdue University, specializing in First-Year Composition. Her dedication to student success earned her the Purdue Department of English Teaching Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching (2024–2025) and the Quintilian Award for Excellence in Teaching First-Year Composition (2026). Previously, she served as a U.S. Department of State English Language Fellow in Hungary (2018–2019), where her work earned the English Language Fellow Program Cross-Cultural Award in November 2019.
