Ann Marie Jakubowski

Ann Marie Jakubowski received her PhD in English and American Literature from Washington University in St. Louis in 2024. Her research focuses on modernist poetics and religious conversion, with special interest in the ways that literary forms have shaped religious experience in the global Anglophone world. She has previously taught courses on modern literature, religion and literature, composition, and ancient and modern texts at Valparaiso University, Washington University in St. Louis, and St. Joseph's University. She holds an MA in English from Villanova University and a BA in English and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame. Her academic work has been published in New Literary History and the Journal of Modern Literature, and her public-facing writing has appeared in Salon, Avidly, and The Millions.
