Steps for Applying to the Graduate Program
We will begin reviewing applications on December 10th for the upcoming fall. Applications submitted by this date will receive full consideration.
Step 1: Go to Purdue's Graduate School webpage (link) and create an application account.
Step 2: Pay the $60 domestic/$75 international application fee online via credit card. See this page for additional information and potential fee waivers.
Step 3: Submit an academic statement of purpose and personal history statement with your electronic application.
Step 4: Ask your recommenders to complete their letters of recommendation via the electronic application.
Step 5: Upload transcript(s) and/or academic document(s) for every institution of higher education you attended regardless of whether or not a degree was received.
Step 6: Request transmission of TOEFL or IELTS scores if required to Purdue University (Institution code: 1631).
Step 7: Submit a writing sample with your electronic application.
Step 8: Attach a current CV.
