ROBERT SLEIGHT (MS, 1947, PhD, 1949, Psychology) is a human factors expert witness. An article in the Arizona Daily Star highlighted some of his safety work involving motorcycles.
BERNIE FLOWERS (BS, 1953, Physical Recreation Education) Bonita Springs, FL, was awarded the Distinguished American Achievement Award for 2008 from the Joe Tiller Chapter Northwest Indiana, National College Football Foundation, and College Football Hall of Fame.
PATRICIA (O'CONNELL) BRESEE (BS, 1957, Speech) is on the board of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and is also a consultant to the Judicial Council of California's Center for Families, Children and the Courts.

DUANE LARSON (BS, 1960, Psychology) retired as owner of Rosemoor Stamp and Coin Company in Park Forest, Illinois.
R. WAYNE PACE (PhD, 1960, Organizational Communication) recently returned from an appointment as a Fullbright Senior Specialist in Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Development at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands.
Eleanor Ypma (BS, 1960, Liberal Arts, Science, Education, & Humanities), was elected director for the Putnam Community Foundation.
JAMES A. BRAY (BS, 1961, Physical Recreation Education) Defiance, OH, recently retired from Defiance College after 37 years and was awarded professor emeritus status.
STUART HOWARD (MS 1964, Theatre), is the casting director for the current Broadway revival of "West Side Story" and the off Broadway production of "The Duchess of Malfi". Stuart was awarded the 2005 CLA Distinguished Alumni Award.
JACK TONK (BA, 1965, Social Sciences; MS, 1966, Social Studies Education) Gary, IN, retired after 38 years as a secondary school counselor from the Gary Community Schools in 2004. Jack now serves as the executive assistant for the Indiana Association for College Admissions Counseling.
ARNOLD KUNERT ( BA 1965, American and English Literature), is currently developing two major feature films based on the works of legendary Hollywood producer, Merian C. Cooper. A 2011 release is anticipated for both films.
FRED CURTIS (BA, 1966, American History) is a senior advisor for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C.
GLENDA JANE BOLING (BA, 1967, Speech) was named the 2007 winner of the Associatio of Community College Trustees William H. Meardy Award. Boling is a speech professor at Danville Area Community College in Danville, Illinois.
JANE CHANCE (BA, 1967, English) was recently appointed as the Andrew W. Mellon Distinguished Professor in English by Rice University.

PAMELA (BROWN) TODD (BS, 1970, HSSE), wrote the novel, The Blind Faith Hotel; Simon and Shuster 2008, and is the co-winner of the 2009 National Green Earth Book Award for Young Adult Fiction.
LINDA COATSWORTH (BA, 1971, Social Sciences) has been employed in the photgraphic and graphic arts busines for over 33 years and is currently the marketing manager for the premier large-format-graphics production facility, Color Reflections, in Atlanta, Georgia.
BLANTON O. CROFT (PhD, 1971, Organizational Communication) is a professor at Hagerstown Community College in Hagerstown, Maryland.
PETER SHERRY (BS, 1968, MS, 1971, Physical Recreation Education), Lafayette, IN , retired from East Tippecanoe Middle School after teaching there for 40 years.
BRIG. GEN. JAMES SWANSON, USAF-RET (BA 1971, HSSE), joined the MOAA staff in 2009 as coporate secretary, which lends support to the board of directors. As the general counsel he advises the board of directors, president, and staff and directs MOAA's legal affairs.
ELIZABETH HAWK BRADBURY (BS, 1972, Psychology ) was recently appointed to the Missouri State Board of Governors.
JOHN T. COOPMAN (BS, 1973, Physical Recreation Education) was named one of eight 2008 District Superintendents of the Year by the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents.
CARL E. MOREHOUSE (BA, 1973, Political Science ) was re-elected to a third, four-year term on the Ventura California City Council.

EDGAR J. "RIK" LOVELADY ( PhD, 1974, English) was presented with the Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award as professor emritus of English, Greek, and linguistics at Grace College.
MAX ARMSTRONG (BA 1975, Communication), has retired from broadcasting after 32 years, he has accepted the position of Director of Broadcasting with Farm Progress Companies based in St. Charles, Illinois.
RITA CULROSS (PhD 1976, Psychology), has been named a Rainmaker at Louisiana State University, honoring the years top 100 research and creative faculty at the university.
F. EILEEN BEARY EVANS (PhD 1976, MA 1970, English), has been named as one of the recipients of the Western Michigan University 2009-10 Distinguished Service Award, recognizing those who have made significant contributions in the areas of accreditation and academic program planning. Dr. Evans is vice provost for institutional effectiveness.
KIMBERLY A. HUBER (BA, 1976, Anthropology), is Curator of Anthropology at Mesa Southwest Museum in Mesa, AZ. Ms. Huber also co-wrote The Museum Educator's Manual: Educators Share Successful Techniques.
KEVIN LUDWIG (BA, 1976, HSSE, Health and Kinesiology), together with Scott Greeson is releasing a new CD, "Wabash Gypsies", a collection of instrumental acoustic guitar music. The CD will be released at an auction to benefit the Adult Congenital Heart Association.

KATHLEEN J. TURNER (MA, 1976, Organizational Communication; PhD, 1978, Communication) is the 2007 recipient of the Donald H. Ecroyd Award for Outstanding Teaching in Higher Education from the National Communication Association. Turner is a professor of communication studies at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina.

CHUCK JONES (BA, 1981, Interior Design, General) took his restored 1961 Watson/Trevis Indy Car to Indianapolis at the request of ABC to participate in the filming of the opening montage which was used on ABC broadcast of the 2009 Indianapolis 500.

Her last position was dean of the Sales, Service, & Marketing College at General Motors University. She is starting a marketing communications business serving small business owners in the Michigan area.
