Purdue College of Liberal Arts Students Join Orr Fellowship Class of 2026
Purdue’s College of Liberal Arts (CLA) is happy to announce that six CLA Boilermakers joined the prestigious Orr Fellowship program. This year’s class included four students with majors in a Liberal Arts discipline and two students with minors from the college.
The Orr Fellowship is a highly selective, two‑year postgraduate program that places high‑achieving graduates in full‑time roles at high‑growth companies located in Indianapolis and Evansville. Fellows participate in extensive professional development, mentorship, and community leadership programming. The fellowship begins upon graduation. One December 2025 graduate started their fellowship in January, and May 2026 graduates will begin in June.
Students Majoring in Liberal Arts Selected to the Orr Fellowship
Calla Giallombardo - Professional writing (English), minor in film
Calla will be working at InPwr Inc. upon graduation.
Josiah Linnemann - Degree Plus student in sociology and business analytics and information management
Josiah will be working at Element Three upon graduation.
Alexandra (Lexie) Bordenkecher - Public relations & strategic communication and political & civic communication (Communication)
Lexie has been working as an operations specialist at Offprem Technology.
Rosalie Degenhart - Public relations & strategic communication and political & civic communication (Communication)
Rosalie will work at University of Evansville upon graduation.
Students Minoring in Liberal Arts Selected to the Orr Fellowship
Matthew Roxas - Minor in philosophy
Matthew will be working at Valve Meter Performance Marketing upon graduation.
Isabelle Westerfield - Minor in communication
Isabelle will be working at Terraboost Media upon graduation.

With so many Liberal Arts majors and minors represented in this year’s Orr Fellowship, it is evident that CLA students are applying their skills, creativity, and leadership in impactful ways.
