Bioarchaeology of Egypt and the Near East
Kaitlyn is interested in the bioarchaeology of Egypt and the Near East with a specific focus on the relationship between population dynamics and health and disease. In 2016 she joined the excavation team led by Michele Buzon and Stuart Tyson Smith at the Nubian cemetery site at Tombos, Sudan.
Her current research focuses on bone health and osteoporosis in the Nile Valley.
