Charissa Mikoski is a PhD student in the sociology department. She received her BA in sociology from Westminster College (PA) in 2017 and her MS in sociology from Purdue University in 2019. At Purdue, she works with Dr. Dan Olson and is interested in religion, family, and quantitative methodology. Her master's research focused on the impact of county level religious composition on parent-child transmission of religion. During the summer of 2019 she worked as an intern on the Religious Demography team at the Pew Research Center in Washington, DC.
