Research and Teaching

Bart directs the Brian Lamb School's Graduate Program, including the campus-based Masters and Ph.D. Programs and the Online Master of Science in Communication Program. His current research interests including heath communication and science communication. Current projects involved the assessment and evaluation of employee health and wellness initiatives and the study of anti-science attitudes. Bart teaches courses in persuasion and social influence, research methods, and scale development and validation. Bart has served as a faculty scholar in the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering and currently serves on the executive board of Purdue's Master of Public Health Program.
