Recent discussions of civic protest, from Occupy Wall Street to the Tea Party, have focused on how representative these movements were, and whether they were inclusive or exclusive of the constituencies for which they claimed to speak. Future CRDI events will bring experts on social movements to Purdue to discuss diversity and inclusion in specific contemporary and historical movement.
