Call for Papers

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 28th Mid-Continental Phonetics and Phonology Conference (MidPhon 28), which will be held at Purdue University from Friday, October 20 through Saturday, October 21, 2023. The abstract deadline is August 31, 2023.
As with previous MidPhon meetings, this is intended to be an informal gathering of researchers working in all areas of phonology and phonetics broadly defined. Faculty, students, and researchers are welcome to present.
We invite submission of abstracts for 20-minute talks and posters on all topics in theoretical, descriptive, computational, and experimental phonology and phonetics. Students are especially encouraged to submit abstracts but must consult with their relevant professors before doing so
Please forward this email to others in the Midwest area who you think may be interested.
We look forward to welcoming you to Purdue University in October!
