We are happy to know of your interest in our department. We are confident you will find graduate work in our department rewarding and challenging. The department offers Masters and Doctorate degrees designed to prepare students for teaching and research careers.

There are several features which make our Graduate Program in Political Science an unusual and outstanding one. With about 55 graduate students and 25 faculty members, we offer balanced educational opportunities in most of the traditional sub-fields of political science. We know that there are a lot of fine graduate programs in political science, but we believe that ours has some important strengths that we hope you will consider.

The department offers four areas of interest: (1) American Politics; (2) Comparative Politics; (3) International Relations; and (4) Public Policy.

The application deadline for Fall admission is December 15th.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Thank you for your interest in the Political Science Graduate Program.
