Steve Jackson

Steven L. Jackson is a partner in the Fort Wayne office of Baker & Daniels LLP. Over his 30 plus year career Steve has maintained an active practice both as a trial lawyer and as an advisor to corporations and individuals. As a trial lawyer Steve has tried more than 100 multi-day matters on a diverse group of issues including personal injury, civil rights/employment, products liability, and False Claims Act cases. As an advisor to some of the nation's largest corporations, Steve has counseled them on such issues as anti-kickback matters, fraud and abuse matters, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Steve has been recognized by his peers as one of the BestLawyers in America in two fields — Health Care law and Civil Litigation. Recognition by Best Lawyers in America in multiple fields is an honor bestowed on roughly one-tenth of one percent of all lawyers in America. Additionally, Steve has been recognized as an Indiana Super Lawyer in the field of Health Care law for every year that award has been available. Steve is married to Maria Jackson (Purdue BS in Accounting) and is the father of three children; Claire (IPFW BS, Biology), Hugh (Wabash College BA), and Carl (Purdue Freshman, Management)
