Elizabeth Thompson

Elizabeth Thompson is a current PhD Research Fellow with the Research Center for Open Digital Innovation at Purdue University studying the intersection of open digital innovation and computational social science. She also teaches as an adjunct instructor of Communications at Ivy Tech Community College. Previously, she was the Founder & CEO of Greater Innovations, a marketing strategies and services agency with a secondary division focused on technology and commercialization. Additionally, Elizabeth spent nearly 9 years with the Purdue University Development Office, serving in communications and marketing roles in Annual Giving, Stewardship, and as a Director of Development with the College of Science. She also gained experience in the start-up world as Director of Marketing and Business Development for Mimir, a SaaS company based in Indianapolis, IN.

Elizabeth has served the Greater Lafayette community in various volunteer and board roles over the years for organizations including the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, Tippy Connect Young Professionals, and WomenIN at the Purdue Foundry.
