How do I CODO into the College of Liberal Arts?

Can I graduate with a "general" Liberal Arts degree?
No. In order to earn a degree from the College of Liberal Arts, you must complete a specific major (i.e. English, History, Psychology, etc).  

I would like to take a summer course at another institution. Will Purdue accept these credits?
Students who wish to complete courses at other institutions should first consult the Transfer Credit Database to ensure the class you intend to take will transfer and how it will be recorded on your record here at Purdue. Students should then consult with thier Academic Advisor to determine how that credit may be used towards their degree requirements. 

Can I double major outside of Liberal Arts?
Double majoring refers to completing the requirements for two Liberal Arts majors. If you want to major in an area outside of Liberal Arts, you need to complete a dual degree. A student wishing to obtain a dual degree must complete all degree requirements for each major, including all general education and CLA core requirements. Students who wish to pursue a dual degree must sign up for a dual degree meeting.

How do I change class times?
From the start of open registration through the first week of classes you can make changes to your schedule online via myPurdue. Starting the second week of classes you will need the consent of the instructor to add a course.

How do I make an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor?
You may schedule an appointment to meet with your academic advisor by visiting the front desk of the CLA advising office located in BRNG 1114.  If you are currently a Liberal Arts student you can schedule use the online appointment scheduling system to schedule an appointment with your advisor.
