Evelyn Blackwood is a Professor of Anthropology and awardee of a 2015 PRF International Travel Grant to travel to Dublin, Ireland for her participation as a discussant for the panel “Beyond the East-West Binary:  Transnational and Transcultural Reflections on Sexual Literacy” at the International Association for the Study of Sexuality, Culture and Society.  Dr. Blackwood’s research specializes in Gender and sexuality, kinship, self and identity, lesbian and transgender studies, women’s same-sex relations, globalization and sexuality, transnational feminisms, feminist theory, and social movements.
