Charles Gick

Charles Gick is a Professor of Art and Design and a 2015-2016 Center for Artistic Endeavor Awardee for his proposed project titled:  A Question to Nature.

• The project will collectively use painting, sculpture, and video to explore complex issues of communication between human nature and the natural environment.  It will be comprised of a series of hybrid artworks that blur the lines between artistic mediums.  These hybrid works in exhibition form will dialogue with one another in an installation format traveling across the room, up the ceiling, and onto the floor.

Professor Gick is extremely thoughtful and equally comfortable creating highly conceptual works in sculpture, painting, and installation works.  He specializes in painting and drawing.
