Technology Mentoring

This is the Introductory Composition at Purdue (ICaP) Technology Support website. ICaP Mentoring (ENGL 505a & 505b) prepares new ICaP instructors for teaching Purdue students and meeting the ICaP class outcomes. The previous position of Technology Mentor has been transitioned to Online Course Coordinator. The Coordinator focuses on helping instructors develop pedagogies that incorporate technology and teach in a connected world.

Check out our Technology Resources page here.

This site is primarily designed for current ICaP mentees and instructors, but we hope that others might find the resources on this site helpful as well. On this site you’ll find workshop materials, ENGL 505 technology-related outcomes, and technology resources on everything from Brightspace to creating video lectures.

ICaP is Purdue’s composition program, including ENGL 106, 106INTL, and 108, rhetoric and composition courses, as well as higher-level writing coursework.
