Margaret Tillman
Please join me in congratulating Margaret Tillman, assistant professor of history, for receiving the ACLS Luce Foundation Award of $50,000 for her project, “Cultivating Talent and China’s Standardized Exams, 1905-1977.”
Margaret has also conducted archival research in Taipei, Shanghai, and Beijing, and has received grants from the Center for Chinese Studies (National Central Library, Taiwan), the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation and the Fulbright DDRA. She also received PRC 985 research grant through Fudan University.
