Maren Linett

Please join me in congratulating Maren Linett, associate professor of English, Jewish studies and interdisciplinary studies, on the recent publication of her monograph, Bodies of Modernism: Physical Disability in Transatlantic Modernist Literature (University of Michigan Press, 2016).

Bodies of Modernism: Physical Disability in Transatlantic Modernist looks at a wide range of modernist literature through a disability studies lens. Maren’s first book, Modernism, Feminism, and Jewishness, was published in 2007 by Cambridge University Press and reissued in paperback in 2011. She has edited Virginia Woolf: An MFS Reader (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2009) and The Cambridge Companion to Modernist Women Writers (Cambridge University Press, 2010) and published articles on an array of modernist writers. Professor Linett is also the director of the new interdisciplinary minor, Critical Disability Studies.

Congratulations, Dr. Linett!
