Madisson Whitman
The Graduate School's Excellence in Teaching Award is Purdue University's highest award in recognition of graduate student teachers. Madi will be honored at the 19th Annual Celebration of Graduate Student Teaching Excellence, where she will receive plaque and $500 on April 25.
Madi is a cultural anthropologist who is researching human experiences of big data. Her areas of research interest include gender, identiy, critical data, and surveillance studies.
