The Brian Lamb School of Communication continues Purdue’s strong tradition of communication scholarship, providing excellent graduate and undergraduate education while supporting the values of Brian Lamb, which include a commitment to openness in communication and public affairs. In addition to these commitments the new school is committed to building bridges to the media industry and to partnering with the C-SPAN Archives which are located in Purdue’s Research Park.

Lamb School Student Spotlight - Katalina Valle

katalinavalleKatalina Valle is a senior in the Lamb School majoring in Public Relations with minors in Management and Spanish. She loves to be involved on campus and gives back through organizations including Purdue Institute for Civic Communication and College Mentors for Kids. Some of her most memorable college experiences involve studying abroad in Spain and presenting American voter opinions measured the day after the 2016 presidential election. After graduation, Katalina will begin work as a Media Associate for Starcom Worldwide, located in Chicago. She cannot wait to start her career in advertising and communication. Katalina has recently authored an article on success in Public Relations that includes professional advice from several Lamb School alumni.
