Michael Meyer, born and educated in Germany, comes to Purdue as a clinical assistant professor of animatronics. Prior to joining the Purdue faculty, Michael was the institutional director at the Academy of Makeup Arts in Nashville, TN. and an educator for I.A.T.S.E. local 798. Michael held the title of professor at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he taught all levels of makeup, wigmaking, special effects makeup, and animatronics.
