In a darkened gallery, the viewer encounters seven monitors and a large, square tank of water placed in front of them. The water represents a river. The video depicts a train trip around Taiwan. By using an electronic delay box, the image passes horizontally from one edge of the monitor to the other and is picked up by the adjacent monitors, producing an illusion of the view from the train's windows. The installation becomes a train moving on a river with its reflection flowing over the water's surface, shifting to a view from the train of a continuous moving landscape, as seen by the passenger on the train.
