The Virgin of Guadalupe, her body made of the corn that constitutes the flesh of Indian and Mestizo people, rises above the land. A group of people gather in a cemetery, to show that this land is where our ancestors are buried. She is the mother of America, and loves her children and the land from which she, and the corn that has fed us for centuries, is planted.
