“The issue of sex trafficking is truly important to me, I have devoted my life to it”

What is your dream job?

My dream job would be the CEO of an organization that works to end human trafficking domestically. After graduation I know I am going to law school at either Georgetown or George Washington University, but I would love to work for the FBI. Either that or the Department of Justice, just to get some political insight for my own organization.

What is at the top of your Purdue bucket list?

I actually want to do Breakfast Club this year, so that is definitely one thing.

Where’s your favorite place to eat on campus?

I love Puccini's, I get the gluten free margarita pizza.

Who would play you in a movie?

I would want Sophia Bush to play me in a movie, she's pretty incredible. She's really inspiring and empowering to women!

What is the coolest experience you've had?

India was my second favorite, but Thailand was my first. I went to Thailand and taught English to children who had been rescued from sex trafficking, and it's where I first learned about the issue of human slavery. I went right before the start of college, and I just knew that that was what I was supposed to do with the rest of my life.

What makes your resume stand out?

Well for me it is my involvement and my passion. I work very hard to have a broad range of involvement with the community and academically, and to raise awareness about the issue of slavery. I think that is what is important, to show that this really does matter to me and that I am truly passionate and involved in this cause.
