Writing Lab and Purdue OWL
The Purdue Writing Lab provides free one-on-one tutoring on writing assignments, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) conversation groups, and writing workshops.
Location: Krach Leadership Center (KRCH), 2nd floor
There is also an Online Writing Lab (called the OWL) that offers helpful online resources about the writing process, conducting research and citing sources, ESL writing instruction, and other topics.
Academic Success Center
Student Success at Purdue provides consultations, handouts, and workshops, as well as credit classes designed to develop your learning and study skills. These are listed as General Studies (GS) courses.
Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a free program that is similar to group study sessions. Students review course material with the help of an SI leader who has previously done well in the respective course. SI sessions are available to any student enrolled in one of the following courses: MA 15300, 15400, 16100, 16200; BIOL 11100, 20400; CHM 11500; CS 15900; COM 31800; MGMT 20000; PHYS 17200; STAT 11300, 30100.
Tutoring Assistance
Biology Resource Center
Tutoring is available for the following Biology courses: 11000, 11100, 12100, 13100, 13500, 23100-23200, and 24100-24200.

Chemistry Resource Room
Tutoring is available for a fee.
Location: Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry (WTHR), Room 117B
Math
Math teaching assistants (TAs) hold office hours for tutoring. There are also math tutors available for a fee.
Location: Mathematical Sciences Building (MATH), Room 205
Physics Help Center
Assistance is available for PHYS 172/172H, 218/220, 219/221, 241, and 272. Private tutors are also available for a fee.

School of Languages and Cultures
The School of Languages and Cultures maintains a list of translators and tutors.

Statistics
Tutors are available for most Statistics courses.
Location: Mathematical Sciences Building (MATH), Room varies per tutor
Technology Courses
The College of Technology offers the Building Excellence for Students in Technology (BEST) tutoring program for 100 and 200 level classes.
