CLA Advising

As academic advisors we build relationships with students and guide them through their questions, concerns, and successes. We are committed to supporting each individual student, and aiding them in developing a unique plan for their time at Purdue and beyond. 


Our Commitments:

  • Supporting the mission of the College of Liberal Arts and promoting the value of a liberal arts education.

  • Assisting students in their progress towards earning a degree.

  • Fostering relationships with students to better mentor and support them during their time at Purdue.

  • Staying knowledgeable about the courses, study abroad and internship opportunities, and events that will benefit students.

  • Continuously improving our services through professional development, innovation, and evaluation.


Meeting with an Advisor:

  • Current students may schedule appointments with their academic advisor by logging on to: http://purdue.campus.EAB.com

  • In addition to traditionally-scheduled meeting, College of Liberal Arts advisors have set aside dedicated time to assist you during certain high-demand days (listed below). On these days, feel free to reach out to your academic advisor directly (via email) or contact the CLA Advising Front Office (phone: 765-494-3670, email: claadvising@purdue.edu, in-person: Beering Hall, Room 1114). You will be connected with an advisor for same-day assistance.

  • Non-Liberal Arts Students interested in CODOing to Liberal Arts, Degree Plus, CLA Minors or Certificates please email claadvising@purdue.edu to be connected with an academic advisor.
