Theses in Reading Room

The SLC Reading Room in SC 120

Sample Theses

The SLC copies of theses may be examined in the SLC reading room. They are not to be removed from the room.

The deposit copies are available through the University Libraries in the storage section located in the basement of Hicks Undergraduate Library. You will need the call number, available in the University catalogue online. You can examine a thesis at the tables there, but you cannot remove it from the room. There is a photocopy machine in the room for your convenience. Copies of complete theses may also be ordered; inquire at the library about details.

Electronic copies of these and dissertations are now available through the Purdue University libraries. See here for information on how to access them.

A post-bound thesis.
Post binding is required for the departmental copy and recommended for any
other paper copies. This form of binding is the most durable, and a thesis that is post bound is the easiest to revise if you have to reprint and replace a page or two after your first attempt at deposit. For information on the required copies, click here.
