Second Language Acquisition Research Lab
About the lab
Welcome to the Second Language Acquisition Research Lab. We investigate how bilingual children, heritage speakers and L2 learners develop different structural aspects of language including syntax, morphology, semantics, pragmatics and phonology/phonetics. We are also interested in the acquisition of sociolinguistic properties of language, bilingualism/language contact phenomena, L1 and L3 acquisition and classroom second language research. Our languages of study include Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese and Chinese.
