Petronio Bendito     PBendito

Petronio Bendito, Associate Professor of Art and Design in the Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Visual and Performing Arts, was an invited speaker and panelist at Designing Soul, a global conference on color and materials design held at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland.  Professor Bendito presented on “The Future of Digital and Physical Design Dynamics” including aspects of his research projects “Natural Disaster Color”, computational color design, and color algorithms alongside other artists and designers from a multitude of fields and businesses, including Nike, Patagonia, and Microsoft.

Carol Cunningham-Sigman   Cunningham

Carol Cunningham-Sigman is the winner of the 2015 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award in Memory of Charles B. Murphy, the University’s highest undergraduate teaching honor.

Carol, who has taught in our College for 31 years, exemplifies the passion and dedication of an excellent teacher.  As professor and chair of the Division of Dance in the Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Visual and Performing Arts, she has been instrumental in creating a dynamic, creative, and productive dance program at Purdue.

Joel Ebarb    JEbarb

Joel Ebarb, Associate Professor of Visual and Performing Arts – Costume Design, was appointed Associated Dean for Undergraduate Education and International Programs in July 2015.  He is an accomplished puppeteer, occasional director, novice performer, playwright; costume designer, popular speaker and presenter, as well as, an award-winning educator.

Shannon McMullen   McMullen

Shannon McMullen is a jointly appointed Assistant Professor in the Electronic and Time-Based Art Program in the School of Visual and Performing Arts and in American Studies and a 2015-2016 Awardee of the PRF Research Grant for her project Reexamining the “Heartland”: Korean American Religious and Ethnic Identity Formations in the Midwest.
