  • Shawn Carr was born in Bremerton, Washington and grew up in Racine Wisconsin. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Purdue University and minors in history and environmental policy. Shawn spent part of the summer of 2015 in Iceland learning about how they use geothermal energy for electricity instead of oil.  He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Relations His research interests include environmental terrorism, human rights, and diplomacy.
