Patrice Buzzanell

Please join me in congratulating Patrice M. Buzzanell, professor in the Brian Lamb School of Communication and the School of Engineering Education (courtesy), who has been named a Distinguished Professor by the Board of Trustees. Dr. Buzzanell is currently the Chair and Director of the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence.  She is a Fellow in the International Communication Association (ICA) and has served as its president. Her extensive publication record includes three books and more than 160 articles and chapters.  Her research, focusing on the intersections of career, leadership, gender, and resilience, is known throughout the world. Her research productivity, in combination with her excellent teaching and mentoring, make this award a fitting tribute to her unique and important contributions to our College and to the University.
