Jeff Brower
Please join me in congratulating Jeff Brower, professor of Philosophy, on receiving a $60,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for his project, Aquinas’s Ontology of Space.
The NEH grants were awarded to 204 research projects that focused on conservation, humanities, and cultural initiatives throughout the country. Brower’s project is a follow-up to his 2014 monograph, Aquinas’s Ontology of the Material World: Change, Hylomorphism, and Material Objects, and will give a structured introduction to Thomas Aquinas’ views on space and spatial location.
