Randy Roberts
Please join me in congratulating Randy Roberts, 150th Anniversary Professor and Distinguished Professor in the Department of History. The Netflix documentary, “Blood Brothers: Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali,” based on his book of the same name, was nominated for Outstanding Documentary (Television) as part of the 2022 NAACP Image Awards. Randy served as writer, consultant, and additionally appears as an on-screen expert in the documentary.
“Blood Brothers: Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali” recounts the extraordinary story behind two of the most iconic figures of the 20th century. “Blood Brothers” is currently airing on Netflix. The Image Awards celebrate the achievements and performances of people of color in categories including film, television, music, literature, and podcasts.
