Alejandro Cuza
Please join me in congratulating Alejandro Cuza, professor of Spanish and Portuguese in the School of Languages and Culture, professor of linguistics, and of Latin American and Latino Studies in the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, for receiving and accepting a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award.
Cuza will conduct research in Mexico for the academic year 2022-2023 (Fulbright García Robles Grant). His project examines the learning of English and Spanish as heritage languages among Mexican-American children in Mexico and the United States and will facilitate academic exchange and collaboration between Purdue and the Autonomous University of Querétaro, a leading research university in central Mexico.
