Boiler Communication
Please join me in congratulating the students of Boiler Communication and their advisor, Christi Eden, for being named the 2021 Dr. F. H. Teahan Chapter Firm of the Year. The award is based on the performance and results achieved for clients and the management and operation of the firm in providing strong business and professional experience for its staff. Boiler Com is the student-run marketing and public relations agency in the Brian Lamb School of Communication.
The agency includes 60 students, all working up to 10 hours a week to help clients’ visions come to fruition. The diverse group of students represents a range of majors, backgrounds, and skills that allow them to continuously learn from one another. Students gain experience in advertising, public relations, sales, videography, graphic design, marketing, and more. Since 2014, the agency has achieved 19 statewide awards from practicing professionals. Boiler Com works to ensure its agency structure replicates other agencies in the industry by working with a network of alumni and meeting all requirements to maintain affiliation with the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
