Swati Srivastava
Please join me in congratulating Swati Srivastava, assistant professor of political science, for winning a $6,000 summer stipend from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Swati plans to use the NEH grant support to write the first two chapters of an upcoming book, “Algorithmic Empires: The Political and Ethical Implications of Data Extraction by Technology Companies.” Swati’s is among 225 humanities projects nationwide that were awarded a total of $24 million in grant support from the NEH this April.
