Shawn Bauldry
Please join me in congratulating Shawn Bauldry, associate professor of sociology, for winning the Southern Sociological Society’s Junior Scholar Award for 2020.
The award goes to faculty members who are within the first 10 years of receiving their Ph.D., recognizing their body of scholarly work that makes significant contributions to the field and exhibits career promise. The Southern Sociological Society typically presents its Junior Scholar Award – one of its few society-wide awards – to one or two scholars per year. Shawn is the only recipient this year. He will be recognized at the 2021 SSS meetings.
