Dino Franco Felluga

Please join me in congratulating Dino Franco Felluga, professor of English, for winning a U.S./U.K. networking grant from the U.K.’s Arts and Humanities Research Council.

Dino’s international team won the highly competitive grant, which supports a first separate instance of the toolset he has been building at http://covecollective.org. The new sister site will be named PRO: The Pre-Raphaelites Online and will bring together the largest collections of Pre-Raphaelite work in the creation of a central repository of digitized and annotated Pre-Raphaelite images, including material from the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, the Watts Gallery, the Delaware Art Museum, the Yale Center for British Art, and the Rossetti Archive. Birkbeck and the University of Exeter are also involved.

The AHRC grant will pay for a series of meetings (in Birmingham, at Purdue, in London, and at Yale) over the coming year. In fall 2018, Dino also won an Enhancing Research in the Humanities and the Arts grant that supported the PRO project. The COVE project has received more than $200,000 of support over the last four years from a variety of sources in the United States, Canada, the U.K., Europe, and Australasia.

Congratulations, Professor Felluga!
