Please join me in congratulating Swati Srivastava, assistant professor of political science, for having the International Studies Association select her book manuscript Hybrid Sovereignty in World Politics for its 2018 Northeast Scholars’ Circle honor.
The Scholars’ Circle honors one promising junior, post-Ph.D. scholar who is in the process of revising a book-length dissertation. A group of prominent international relations scholars will read Swati’s manuscript prior to the ISA Northeast Conference, which will be held Nov. 2-3 in Baltimore, and join her in a roundtable discussion where they offer feedback intended to help her prepare it for submission. The Scholars’ Circle roundtable will take place on the closing night of the conference.
