Brian Lamb School of Communication Faculty
The NCA’s Basic Course Division honored the COM 114: Fundamentals of Speech Communication and COM 217: Science Communication courses with its Program of Distinction award. The award recognizes winning programs for the quality of their content, teaching methods, training of instructors, and course-related outcomes.
Reviewers credited Purdue’s programs for their evolution and campus partnerships, with one reviewer stating that, “the highly integrated/collaborative nature of the basic course evidenced throughout the institution is a positive for this course and our discipline.”
