Li Zhang
Li Zhang, professor in the Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Visual and Performing Arts and chair of the Department of Art and Design, was named an endowed honorary professor in the School of Art & Design, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, China. Li was also named an honorary professor in the School of Design, Art & Media, Nanjing University of Science & Technology, China. She will work to strengthen our institutional connections and facilitate collaborative research and other activities of mutual interest.
Li has been invited to speak at more than 10 institutions and research centers over the past academic year, including Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University, and The Central Academy of Fine Arts. She also presented at Lenovo Corporate Research and Development Center. Lenovo, a computer technology company with headquarters in Beijing and North Carolina, is number one in sales of personal computers in China, Japan, Russia, and Germany.
