Jennifer Marston William

Jennifer Marston William, professor of German and associate head of the School of Languages and Cultures, was appointed a 2015–2016 Provost Fellow in January. The Provost Fellows program provides faculty who have an interest and potential in university administration with opportunities to gain a general overview of the Provost’s office, including academic planning, budgets, shared governance, governmental relations, Board of Trustees meetings, strategic planning, and research on faculty issues and student programs. Provost Fellows also participate in discussions about the challenges of higher education, the 21st century university, the changing professoriate and student body, and the changing nature of teaching, learning, and scholarship.

Professor William provides assistance to the faculty affairs team, working on various projects, including improving the process of nominating faculty for national and international awards.

Congratulations to Professor William on her appointment as a 2015–2016 Provost Fellow!
