Michael Malone is a visiting assistant professor in philosophy.

Malone received an M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from Saint Louis University.

He taught for 21 years at St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana. At St. Joseph’s, he taught philosophy and Core (integrated humanities) courses and was promoted to Professor of Philosophy.

Malone twice received the Excellence in Teaching Award, the college’s highest award for teaching, which is given annually to one professor. He also served for four years as Dean of the Core Curriculum Program at St. Joseph’s.
