Lindsay Hamm joins Purdue University as a Continuing Lecturer in the Sociology Department. She did her graduate work at North Carolina State University and has taught sociology there, as well as at Meredith College and North Carolina's Governor's School.

Her research uses mixed methods to assess how interpersonal networks and legislation shape categorical inequality within and between workplaces. She has also conduced interdisciplinary research on effective undergraduate teaching practices across learning environments.
