Joshua Doyle is a sociologist who studies how culture influences decision-making. He completed a B.A. in Sociology at Indiana University in 2013 and his master’s and Ph.D. in Sociology at Duke University.  

Doyle’s current research focuses on social trust as a predictor of cooperative behaviors and support for environmental protections. He uses a mixture of experimental methods and statistical analysis of observational data in his research. 

Among his research and teaching interests are social psychology; culture and action; environmental problems; social trust; and cooperation.
