My name is Ramiro Jimenez Jr. and I am a first year graduate student. I received my BA in Sociology from Loyola University Chicago. My research interests fall within the field of social inequality (specifically with immigration and education). My ultimate goal is to become a Sociology professor and be a mentor for students coming from disadvantaged backgrounds. My hobbies include moving heavy objects through space and time (aka powerlifting), running, and organizing things.
